For special events, coverage is sometimes provided by loaned or leased vehicles. That way we can leave the main ambulance in a secure location but be able to carry equipment and people to and fro. It is assigned the unit number of 334. Like all of our other vehicle it has morphed over the years.

1990 - Traer hosted the Iowa Firemans Association annual meeting. This was our first use of an auxiliary vehicle. |

1998 - Traer had its sesquicentennial. We provided coverage at three venues. A local resident loaned us their Mule for the week. |

For several years a member of the crew loaned us their golf cart on the condition they could use it during state fire convention. |
