Welcome to the Traer Ambulance Website.

The Traer Ambulance is a combination career /volunteer service providing full time EMT-B ambulance service underIowa rules. The service also operates under Iowa's conditionalservice rules at the EMT-I and EMT-P/PS levels depending on crewqualifications. We cover 140 square miles in northern Tama County,including the towns of Buckingham, Clutier, and Traer.

Traer Ambulance Service maintains two ambulanceswith a three person crew on call at all times. For special events, anambulance and crew can be provided on standby at the scene with asecond crew on 3-5 minute response.
